Pelican Classic-V 7U Rack Case

The Classic-V 7U is a roto-moulded Pelican rack case for 19-inch equipment. Its steel rack is 31.1 cm (7U) high and 83.8 cm (33 inches) deep, and carries 45 to 77 kg of equipment.

Who it suits: AV and production companies, broadcast and news crews, and IT teams moving long-chassis 19-inch gear, such as servers, video switchers and recorders, that will not fit a 61 cm rack. The 7U size takes a full system rack, such as a broadcast flypack, a front-of-house processing rack or a server with its switch and UPS.

• Full-boxed steel rack, 48 cm (19 inches) wide, with a square-hole pattern. Comes with 24 x 10-32 and 24 x M6 clip nuts
• Cylindrical shock mounts on the case wall isolate the rack from vibration and impact
• Front lid 6.4 cm deep, rear lid 13.3 cm deep. Lid hangers hold the lids while you work
• Gasket seal and pressure relief valve keep water out and stop pressure building up
• Bolt-on edge casters on the rear lid
• Two lockable cable catches per lid
• Moulded stacking ribs and coupling catches hold stacked cases together
