Pelican MAC 3U Rack Case (Australian Made)

The Pelican 3U MAC Rack case is made in Australia. It has the same roto-moulded shell and shock-mounted 19-inch rack as the Classic Rack, in a smaller, lighter case with less sway space (0.85 inches). It suits equipment that needs shock and vibration protection but is not highly fragile.

Who it suits: communications, broadcast and field engineering teams with general rack electronics rated 50 to 80 G: radios, solid-state electronics, control panels, and TV and communications gear. Pelican lists field-deployed equipment and control consoles as typical uses. It is smaller and lighter than a Classic Rack, so it fits vehicles and tight spaces better.
