Pelican Protector Cases

The Protector case is Pelican’s original hard case, made since 1976. Most sizes share the same build: a polypropylene shell, an O-ring seal in the lid, an automatic pressure valve that stops the lid vacuum-locking after a flight or altitude change, and stainless steel hardware. They are watertight, crushproof and dustproof, rated from −40°C to 87°C, and carry Pelican’s limited lifetime warranty. A few models, such as the Mobility cases, are water resistant rather than watertight, so check the rating on each listing.

Sizes

The range runs from small hand-carry cases up to large wheeled transport cases. Use the size filter to narrow the list, or the Will It Fit tool to find cases from your gear’s measurements.

Micro cases: pocket-size, for phones and small electronics.

Ruck cases: small personal cases with a rubber exoskeleton and lid organiser.

Laptop cases: hard cases with foam cut out for a laptop and charger.

Transport and long cases: large wheeled cases and long cases for tripods and rifles.

Cube cases: tall, deep cases for bulky gear.

Mobile tool chests: wheeled cases with slide-out drawers.

EMS cases: fitted out for medical kit.

Inside the case

Many models come with Pick N Pluck foam, padded dividers, TrekPak dividers or empty. You can change the insert later: we stock replacement foam, padded dividers and TrekPak kits by case model.
