Australian-Made Pelican Rack Cases

These Pelican rack cases are made in Australia and carry Pelican’s 5-year limited warranty (90 days on shock mounts, handles, wheels and hardware).

Classic Rack: the most protective Pelican rack case. Elastomeric shock mounts hold a threaded aluminium rack frame (M6) with 5 cm of sway space, for equipment with a 15 to 30 G fragility rating: precision test instruments, medical diagnostic equipment and high-end rack electronics. We list the 3U (68.6 cm deep rack) and the 11U (63.5 cm deep rack).

MAC Rack: the same shell and shock-mounted rack in a smaller, lighter case with 2.2 cm of sway space. It suits general rack electronics, radio and communications gear rated 50 to 80 G. We list the 3U, with a 50.8 cm rack and built-in wheels.

Spacecase 8U static rack: a 37 cm deep square-hole rack bolted straight to a Spacecase shell. With no shock mounts it suits rugged gear such as radios, amplifiers and power supplies that needs protection from weather, dust and knocks. Four fit a 1100 x 1100 mm pallet.

Other sizes and colours

Standard colour is black. Pelican’s rack catalog lists Classic Rack cases from 3U to 26U and MAC Rack cases from 3U to 14U, built to order with options such as drawers, shelves, removable racks and other colours. Contact us about a size we do not list.
