ISP stands for Inter-Stacking Pattern. The base of each case has a disc pattern that drops into a wave pattern on the lid of the case below, so stacked cases lock together and the load does not shift on a pallet, truck or container.
The pattern matches across all six sizes, from 4 to 25 cubic feet. That means different ISP cases cross-stack with each other. They are sized to make good use of standard logistics platforms, including standard and NATO pallets, 463L pallets and sea containers.
The shell is roto-moulded polyethylene from the Hardigg line. A silicone sponge O-ring and pressure relief valves keep out weather and water.
ISP cases are made in the USA and carry Pelican’s 1-year limited warranty. Each case is rated from −29°C to 60°C.
The IS4521-2303, for example, is 114.3 x 53.3 x 66 cm inside. Sizes for each model are on its listing.
Who uses them
Logistics, defence, mining, aid and film production teams that ship kit on pallets, trucks and in containers and need stacked loads to stay put.
